FAQ - Payment
All HSBC/Hang Seng Bank customers who have HKD account(s) and HSBC/Hang Seng Bank ATM card may use this service at any HSBC/Hang Seng Bank ATM machines.
After selecting Haitong International as the broker under "Bill Payment", you will be prompted for a Payment Reference Number. Please key in your 11-digit Haitong International Account Number as this Payment Reference Number.
The maximum amount you can pay is a combined balance of HKD500,000 to all payees made on the same day.
You are NOT REQUIRED to fax the pay-in slip or transaction record if the deposit is made through HSBC/ Hang Seng Bank ATM under “Bill Payment”. However, we do encourage you to keep your transaction receipt for your own reference.
Usually funds deposited during business hours will be available in your Haitong International account after around 90 miniutes. Otherwise, the deposit will be handled next trading day.
Yes. Bill Payment made on Monday - Friday between 9:00am to 5:00pm will be available for trading within an hour of deposit during trading hours. Bill payment made on weekends or Public Holidays will only be available in the next trading day.
